First Chuck D now Clive Davis. Meeting Mr. Davis the man behind Whitney Houston, Santana, Janis Joplin, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys...and so many others. Was an exciting experience. What a great lesson to learn from one of the most affluent music moguls. Making music in a time where all you need is a computer. It was nice to hear stories about the old school music industry. Regardless, to what happens in the industry one thing Clive Davis taught me is - does the beat make you want to dance? Watching him chair dance was the cutest thing I've seen. I'm thankful that SoundCtrl and NYU gave me the opportunity to document this lesson. Keep on dancing.
